BSI is preparing a proposal for an EC Technical Assistance contract to develop capacity in food safety and quality control in FYROM.
The project will start in March 2007 for 12 months and we are looking for an IT Expert to provide 100 days work in Skopje over the period. The task required is the p reparation of an IT system that will integrate the IT system already existing in the Veterinary D, by adding relevant modules with IT standards/architecture compatible with the existing ones. The IT system will include a laboratory information (LIS) system component.
The profile for the position is:
Key Expert 4: IT Expert
A bachelors degree or 15 years of professional experience, preferably in computing or food-related science
Fluent English
Proven minimum 5 years of professional experience - but preferably 10 years - in establishing IT solutions for control/surveillance networks, and in developing such systems for food inspection services
